Hot Mess & In:Vision Residents
This month you can ditch your valentine and do away with all that other soppy nonsense, as we hit you up with a lovingly selected two course meal of Leeds debutant's once again. In a gratuitous act of generosity we are offering £5 Early Bird tickets to all you loved up fools who have spent up on pointless pressies.
AMIRALI (Crosstown Rebels, LIVE)
First up we have an artist who is sure to be one of 2012’s highlights. With an impending album set to be released this year on Crosstown rebels, he joins some of the biggest names in the business, who are lucky enough to boast that privilege. There is a growing excitement in dance music’s underground surrounding an act that is primed and ready to explode onto the scene.
His mysterious and haunting vocals and forward thinking musical style caught the attention of Rebels head honcho Damian Lazarus. Damian promptly signed him for an artist album due for release on Crosstown in 2012. We expect AMIRALI’s live show to be nothing short of spectacular, sure to reach similar heights of co artist’s: Maceo Plex and Deniz Kurtel in this forthcoming year.
His sound is guaranteed to make your mouth water and your feet tap, his output is a brilliant mish mash of House, Techno, Funk, and Electronica. This exclusive north England debut of Amirali will include forthcoming tracks off his debut album. The show will include live vocals, live keys and a visual exploration into his weird and wonderful mind. We have got a rare live set from one of the hottest properties in dance music currently and with it being only the second time he has previewed his live show in the Uk, you’re most certainly in for a treat.
CONI ( ClekCleckBoom)
This young prodigy is certainly one to watch. At the tender age of 17, the French youngster could only gain entry into nightclubs to mix, but already controlled the turntables better than most adults. This youngster has already played alongside the likes of Pearson sound, Julio Bashmore and Catz N Dogz in his relatively short career.
His musical style is refreshingly unique, Coni not only Dj’s house but is fluent in many other genre’s, from Garage to Uk Funky. This unique blend of musical styles can certainly be heard in his productions. His first release is on CleckCleckBoom is a reflection of these varying musical influences. Already being compared to the likes of Julio Bashmore, we expect major things this year for Coni.
