Culprit Sessions reach a half-way point in their fifth season with another exciting double header
Two of the brightest young stars in the modern house scene take over the controls on July 1st: M A N I K is a familiar name to the rooftop regulars - this is NYC-based DJ and producer's third rooftop appearance in three years.
A key Culprit artist, M A N I K's natural music-making ability places him in the elite tier of young dance music talent. His deeply funky and propulsive work has graced some of the best labels around, from Ovum to Poker Flat, Hot Creations to Real Tone. His two EPs of music - with the third on the way this September - for our label has helped built Culprit's global reputation for freshness and quality
Burnski is M A N I K's UK counterpart - young but vastly experienced, equally apt at the DJ controls as he is in the studio. James Burnham aka Burnski made an early impression with a string of excellent releases for Steve Bug's Poker Flat label and has since been on a hot streak with a big hit for Hot Creations last year ("Malibu" with Robert James), Real Tone ("You Know What it's Like" with M A N I K) and one of Culprit's biggest jams of 2012 so far, his remix of Subb-an's "What I Do"
Burnski will be making his Los Angeles debut
