WOW, we can't believe is already Onemore 2nd birthday!!
No words can express our gratitude to all of YOU amazing people who have supported us and showed all your love and passion which made every OneMore at the infamous Car Park so special! It is mainly thanks to all of you people who showed continuous support that, in less then 2 years, OneMore managed to establish itself as one of the most famous underground warehouse party in the trendy east London.
We want to take this opportunity to thank all our 2012 guests for all their support and fantastc soundtracks at OneMore (in reverse order of appearance) :
Steve Lawler, Livio&Roby, Mathias Kaden, Cesare vs Disorder, Dj T., Christian Burkhardt, Simon Baker, Franck Roger, Ryan Elliott, Tobias, Barem, Kraushaar & Gradmann, Radio Slave, Ripperton, Pan-Pot, Tiefschwarz, Lawrence, D'Julz, Andre Galluzzi, Steve Lawler, Timo Maas...
And of course, special mention to our residents Antonio De Angelis, Outart, Raymundo Rodriguez and Arnaud Le Texier!
We feel very proud of showing such a line-up over the year just gone which no doubt, took OneMore to next level!
Now, looking forward, you can rest assured that OneMore will take London's underground party scene to yet another level with some truly amazing guests lined-up for 2013 coupled with constant efforts to make our venue even more special every time thanks to state-of-the-art sound, lighting and of course our trademark visuals (courtesy of our VJ and designer Sofine) giving life to several metres of projected walls. Additionally, we can safely say to be the only warehouse party in London with a high quality (yet decently priced) cocktail bar!
To celebrate this anniversary we have invited Detroit's Kenny Larkin.
In his 20 year long musical career, the man has been producing some of the TOP "soulful techno" ever made. His music is somewhere in between Detroit and Chicago, combining House's more swinging rhythmic vibe and soft edge with Techno's muscular back-beat and experimental zeal.
On his popularity, Larkin states:
“I’m more like the artist’s artist. I’ve had very successful electronic artists tell me constantly how much I’ve influenced them, but, to the newer generations of club-goers, my name might not be as well known. I like to say, I’m famous for not being famous!” -KL
It is that musicality that allowed him to give us an unforgettable collection of original material and remixes, such as the amazingly groovy Inner City “Share My Life.” Many consider this rework one of the best Inner City remixes ever done. Or the equally stunning remix done for Ben Klock’s “OK,” which was voted by website LITTLE WHITE EARBUDS as the 20th top track of 2009.
But by far, one of the most memorable recent remixes, was Larkin’s version of Radioslave’s “Don’t Need A Cure For This.” Released in late 2010, Larkin effortlessly displays his penchant for melody, and his signature jazzy keyboard riffs.
With Kenny we're happy to bring back 2 of our favourite guests: Lawrence and Kiki.
Lawrence joined us in january '12 and we were so impressed by the sound of his live set that we just had to invite him again!
Kiki was the star of an amazing night back in april '11... We were all packedaway in the basement of a leather factory, after only few months from the beginning of the OneMore experience! Those of you who can say "I was there!" have witnessed an early blend of quality music and positive vibe which has been almost a trademark of OneMOre parties!
Check the video of that night on our youtube channel!
