Antony Parasole (The Corner/ Deconstruct) is our next guest to hit the turntables with support on the night coming from John Daly (Feel Music/ Drumpoet) and Epoch resident Colin Finnegan.
Anthony Parasole is one of the men who, along with the likes of Ron Morelli, Levon Vincent, DJ Jus Ed, DJ Qu and Fred P, have injected life back into the New York house and techno scene in recent years.
Having worked as a buyer in the famous New York record store, Halcyon, he was the first to pick up on some of DJ Qu's records and stock them in the store. It was from here that Anthony really developed his sound and his record collection. A sound that balances between house and techno with an undercurrent of rawness that can be seen in the likes of Levon Vincent's releases with whom Anthony set up the Deconstruct label in 2008/9.
Along with the releases on Deconstruct, Anthony's main contribution to the New York scene has been through his DJing. In 2008 he was involved in the setting up of the House-N-Home event which brought the likes of Patrice Scott, Keith Worthy and Mike Huckaby to the east coast. Now he runs the Club House along with Jus Ed. During the summer they hosted John Daly and so on December 14th John and Anthony will be back behind the decks again which is an incredibly exciting prospect.
Check out Anthony's production on his latest record label outing called 'The Corner' whose first release was a split EP between DJ Qu and Nor'Easter. (See links below)
Music is switched on in Factory at 11pm with concessions available at the pre party in the Bierhaus, hosted by Epoch residents Enda House and Lynam from 9pm.
