Subbase and Blackhole are tickled pink (or black) to announce that in keeping with our ethos of supporting local DJ’s we’re actually bringing one home! Saturday the 2nd of March sees the return of whacking Irish techno up-and-comer P-Hocto! Support on the night comes from B-Side founder Casper Hastings and Subbase rinser Sean Whitty. This will not be for the faint of heart, there will be no indie-jazz-tech-house fusion, expect wall to wall jesus-christ-that's-hard techno stonkers. Comment "Techno Screamers" on the Facebook event for cheaplist.

Dublin born DJ and producer Peadar Ó Brádaigh, AKA P-Hocto, had been circling the Irish electronic scene for a number of years but is now to be found across the pond in London city. A vinyl fanatic, Peadar separates himself from the masses by playing a killer selection of new and old tracks across the various styles of techno, electro and bass heavy music that most appeal to him. Dark and deep, weird and wonky, glitched out and sublime or simply pounding, one thing is for sure, you won’t find any filler here.
Currently studying for a degree in Sonic Arts at Brunel University, Peadar has supported some big names in the underground techno and bass circuits, both at home and abroad. Artists like; Neil Landstrumm, Paul Birken, King Cannibal, Jerome Hill, Luke’s Anger, Dave the Drummer, PET Duo, Fran Hartnett, Sunil Sharpe, Rory St John, Eomac and Swarm Intelligence to name but a few. 2013 will see him delve further into the possibilities presented by both his course and his fledgling modular synthesiser, all the while continuing to step up his productions and mixes.
