It was December when we last took over Cargo, and we cannot wait to get back and rock this superb venue as only Hat-Club know how. This is a date you should have underlined in your diary as every event we have done at Cargo has gone down in Hat-Club history.
We are so happy that we are able to bring back one of our favourite guest DJ's, Thomas Gandey took the roof off Cargo and we are sure he will do the same when he graces the decks again on the 20th of April
The Enigmatic London & Berlin based producer formerly known for his underground minimal disco and blue eyed soul moniker 'Cagedbaby' has been releasing a steady stream of Tech & Deep house tracks with his last rework with Radio Slave of Mousse T's classic Horny being one of the biggest underground tunes of 2012.
Always pushing technological boundaries his unique style of House, Deep House, Tech-house & Disco-Tech has seen Gandey play Live & DJ at over 1000 international shows which was initially kickstarted by touring with the Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Fatboy Slim on world tours.
Thomas has released two albums as Cagedbaby with many tracks featured in numerous films, adverts and TV shows and has written and produced for numerous chart topping artists such as David Byrne, Shirley Bassey, Fatboy Slim, Tracey Thorn & The War of the Worlds to name but a few. He has also completed compilations for DJ Mag, Mixmag, Pacha & Radio 1 Essential Mixes and with the Two Bears.
A highly in demand remixer, 2012 saw remixes delivered for EJ, Carl Craig, Nelski, Chris Leibling, Spektrum,. and a staggering 150 remixes under his belt, with more to come in 2013
When it comes to production Thomas does everything himself in the studio. A classically trained pianist and composer and multiinstrumentalist and self confessed analogue synth head Gandey’s wide musical influence shows in his unique productions.
