The Trilogy Tapes
Workshop Records x TTT
Reel-II-Real, a product of T.R.U. proudly updates its hardware and strictly physical project – version 2.0. After almost a year of hibernation and fine tuning, the second instalment of the series is back with a head-to-head between two of the most forwardthinking electronic imprints in the game at London's Corsica Studios – powered by a mightily calibrated Funktion One Sound. Workshop Records, Berlin's house and techno institution est.2006 and Will Bankhead's The Trilogy Tapes, a label that can't properly be described in words but only in graphic imagery will feature in Room 1 and Room 2 respectively.
For the former, we'll be joined by none other than main man Lowtec himself, close label affiliate Even Tuell and the ever-enthralling sounds of Kassem Mosse's convoluted and mesmerising beat flex. For the latter, we have Will Bankhead holding it down in fine style, no doubt showcasing his weird and wonderful record collection, accompanied by a truly special guest from the depths of the German underground: Dynamo Dreesen of the long-running, hype-lacking and brain-shattering Acido Records, a label which oozes quality with each new release from the likes of SVN,
DJ Sotofett, Madteo, Tase and a few other familiar names - apart from a guest-mix on NTS Radio, this is his club debut in London. Keeping them company, we have MikroDisko's homeboy, Mix Mup, whose deranged, dubbed-out techno collages have appeared on Bankhead's TTT alongside Kassem Mosse as the now concrete KM/MM tag
and upcoming on the foreboding Hinge Finger label for a solo EP. Hold tight…!
