Fresh off his Sonar stint, English lad Trus’me is in the country for his only Sydney show. In support, one of Melbourne’s finest, Dylan Griffin has taken the trip up for a set and a quick defrost. A man involved making waves and doing big tings in Sydney, Zeus, is back for another meticulously assembled set with opening duties given to Adriano Migliorino and familiar Polish gengtleman, Tomek.. bringing some of the best talent from England, Melbourne, Sydney and Poland..
This week, S*A*S*H plays host to:
With his love for music tracing way back to an early age by dabbling with various instruments and then moving on to develop a passion for record collecting, Trus’me found his calling after learning the art of mixing and sample digging. After an extended career of extensive gigs around the world and label owner of Prime Numbers and creator of soul edged House & Techno choice cuts, Mancunian music head, Trus’me, has seen tremendous success both for his debut LPs, ‘Working Nights’ and ‘In The Red’. S*A*S*H is super keen to be providing another outstanding international act, Tus’us.. this is going to be super special !!
Previously based in Sydney and now based in Melbourne Dylan Griffin has been spinning his highly inspired tunes across Australia & Internationally for the last 8 years. Industry knowledge and hands on experience has him representing and playing for the reputable Subsonic Music & Vibrating Balance record labels as well as running his own podcast series “auunderground”. With a music philosophy of high quality production, maturity and fun, expect dance music executed with heavy consideration of time, place & environment – especially when paired with such a special venue as the Abercrombie.
Compound night-slugger Zeus will step up as once again this Sunday evening.. After warming-up for Jon Convex, and supporting the likes of Sven Weisemann, Girl Unit and Chaos in the CBD, Zeus has found his place in Sydney as an upcoming local talent to watch over the coming years. Chris being 33.33% of the now infamous community of Compound, you can expect Zeus to deliver an extended set bursting with warmth and energy.
While this may be his first appearance on a Sunday, with releases on Xelon Entertainment and 405 Blue lables, he certainly isn’t a new comer to the scene. A quick squiz through his Soundcloud brings to light several mixes on a very high and polished standard, perfect soundtrack to teeing off what will certainly be another massive Sunday.
So you may have noticed that we've been starting the tunes for our newly branded "Supper Set" from 7pm inside. It runs till 11pm and is a mix of stripped back and slo-mo house.
The Polish gentleman, Tomek, will be lugging around his vinyl crate into the den this week for those who wish to ease into their Sunday festivities at a slower, more relaxed BPM.
