Holosound, Lovecraft, GUILLAUME CLAVE, IMAN RISKY, Gavin Stephenson
(Pulse Radio, Playperview, Glasgow Underground)
Returning from the playa on the heels of his amazing Robot Heart debut, Holosound will be making his first ever appearance at ebb + flow. The Holosound style has been characterized as as "warm, driving tech-house with a pinch of electro,” as it reaches beyond the conformities and limitations of genre-based stereotypes and draws upon a multitude of musical influences to create his own distinctive sound—winding and weaving seductive melodic landscapes and warm, pulsing basslines with the crisper, edgier percussive elements found within the depths of New York's tech-inspired underground. His willingness to blend these disparate elements—and his skill at pulling it off—results in a sublime amalgamation of styles that fills rooms, moves dance-floors and leaves a trail of satisfied crowds in its wake.
With appearances from Tokyo to Toronto, Helsinki to London, Phuket to Estonia and all over North America— Holosound has been turning heads and earning the respect of his fans and peers the world over. His unique style and knack for energizing dance-floors has also helped land Holosound gigs in support of many of the world's top DJs—including Luke Fair, Satoshi Tomeii, Josh Wink, SOS, Kaskade, Audiofly, Desyn Masiello and others.
Producer, remixer, DJ, and party thrower, Mike Fisher aka Lovecraft knows a thing or two about dance music. As co-founder and resident DJ of “Life”, he helped to establish one of Washington D.C.’s most esteemed parties, now into its third year. A graduate of the famed Berklee College of Music, the Boston native's natural instinct and formal musical background helped launch his career as an engineer for some of the most influential acts in electronic music. As a DJ, his mixing skills and knack for track selection have secured him gigs across the country, alongside some of the major players in today’s underground movement like Jamie Jones, Lee Burridge, Visionquest and Josh Wink to name a few.
As a producer Mike has released music on labels like No19, Nurvous & Stranjjur as well as having remixed the likes of Art Department, Maxxi Soundsystem, Michael & Mattis and more. The future is looking bright for this young musician, as he charts a successful course across all aspects of the dance music industry.
