& SPECIAL GUESTS
Not content with soundtracking the end and rebirth of the world at their recent Day Zero festival, Damian Lazarus has spent the nascent 2014 gathering his Crosstown Rebels crew for arguably its weirdest and wildest Get Lost party to date.
Entering its ninth year in Miami, Crosstown Rebels annual Get Lost party has become a cornerstone of the Miami Music Week; A surefire destination at which to hear groundbreaking sets from dance music’s most adventurous artists, a gathering point for like-minded souls losing themselves on mind-bending musical journeys, a marathon session anchored by an unmatched array of underground talent.
2014’s Get Lost is literally bigger than ever, running 24 hours for its first time, encompassing two interior rooms and the outdoor garden, Crosstown Rebels will invite old friends and new, to join label stalwarts at Ice Palace West. Despite the dizzying amount of talent on tap, fans will do well to remember that it’s often the unannounced guests that provide some of the most inspiring and memorable moments of Miami Music Week.
In the spirit of Get Lost’s origins as an after-hours, Sasha will get the party kicked off at 5am, ushering in the dawn, before the opening of the outdoor garden and the daytime main event. A new addition to Get Lost this year is the inclusion of DJ Harvey’s After-Hours Discotheque, transforming one of the interior rooms into an all night disco, DJ Harvey will close Get Lost starting at midnight with a five-hour set.
For those unable to make the hedonistic pilgrimage to Miami, a window into the magic and mystique of Get Lost will be available on the forthcoming double disc Get Lost 7 compilation, which this year is mixed by fabric resident and Crosstown Rebels fave, Craig Richards, and will be released in April.
