Malang Jobarteh, Gunnar Haslam, Archie Pelago, General Ludd and Mister Saturday Night: Eamon Harkin & Justin Carter
**After throwing last night's house party, we've realized that we'll have more room once dinner and the live performances are finished. We've just released a few tickets for late entry to the party. If you buy one of these, you'll be allowed in from 11pm onward. No dinner and no live performances, but still plenty of dancing!
Mister Saturday Night is throwing a house party. In an actual house. It's a beautiful home from the turn of the last century, complete with a fireplace, a giant wood staircase, chandeliers, a big living room, a parlor, a billiard room and a basement rec room.
At 8pm, dinner will be served. While you're eating and hanging out, Gambian kora player, Malang Jobarteh, will be setting the mood, and once dinner is over, Archie Pelago will set up their strings, horns and machines in the middle of the living room for a special live set.
Around 10pm everyone will retreat to the basement. General Ludd, the guest of honor for the evening (he's flying all the way from Glasgow just to hang out), will be playing records alongside Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin.
Throughout the night, you can hang out in the billiard room or stick around in the living room where all the guys will take turns playing albums on the hi-fi.
Tickets include the price of dinner, and there'll be a cash bar for drinks. We're keeping the location a secret, but if you buy a ticket, we'll email you on the day of the party to give you all the details. Just know it's in downtown Manhattan and as easy to get to as any other location Mister Saturday Night does its parties at.
