Waze & Odyssey (W&O Street Tracks)
Ewan Pearson (Kompakt)
Pangaea (Hessle Audio)
Paula Temple (R&S Records)
Sunil Sharpe (Works The Long Nights)
His columns for Groove Magazine, his brilliant remixes for Depeche Mode and Metronomy, and his still enduring legacy as a true music enthusiast – there are so many reasons why we are proud of having Ewan Pearson as resident. Next to him and back after their last closing set, the duo Waze & Odyssey will play in the pool for you this time. Yes, right there where the Scots of Optimo already charmed the pants off you with their colorful mix of house, new wave and electro. Sublime Moments!
Hessle Audio here, Hadal there – in other words: dubstep and techno are Pangaea’s foundation to unfold his powerful, dark sets. The same holds true for Irish hero Sunil Sharpe. Since this guy was introduced as some sort of unpredictable whirlwind, we’re more than thrilled about his debut for us in the Boiler. Paula Temple’s special hybrid sets have already given proof that the young label founder is able to shape her own league of dark atmospheres. Have you been connecting the dots? Our Berlin-born resident Andrejko is the only one on the bill who’s not from the British Isles – but his techno vibe surely is. Boom Repeater!
