For the second and last preview of the festival coming up in June in Bologna and featuring live performances of Craig Leon, Klara Lewis, Polar Inertia, Caterina Barbieri & UHV and much more, IMAGO presents the italian première of the Berlin–based Australian young talent Campbell Irvine (Infrastructure New York).
Part industrial mantra, part musique concrète, Irvine brings genuine new talent to the table. A classically trained violinist, who until recently had little background or experience in electronic music, Irvine has already developed a mature, unique sound; centred around a deeply ritualistic study in textural, layered compositions, inspired by Middle Eastern traditions and rhythms. Having recently performed his first live set as part of Infrastructure’s label night at Berghain, Irvine will continue to release music with Infrastructure, exploring the ritualistic, mystic side of electronic music.
Haunter Records’ Cage Suburbia and the milanese dj LM. will also share the stage of AtelierSì, a space for performing arts in the heart of Neptune city.
