Nummer (Going Good / Firecracker / Nummer Music)
Kasra V (Make Love In Public Spaces / NTS / 22 Tracks)
FYI Chris (Rhythm Section / Rye Wax)
comm•une are back for a late summer jam at Dance Tunnel with a choice selection of rising London artists.
Forming in 2010, Nummer is the pairing of 2 young London based French producers with an unquenchable thirst for acquiring obscure records & filling their studio with various pieces of second hand & custom built hardware / software. Following on from releases on Peur Bleue and Going Good, the end of 2015 looks busy for Nummer with another EP on their own Nummer Music and as well as a four tracker on the excellent french label Fragil Musique and a remix of Linkwood’s ‘Love Lost’ due on Firecracker in September.
Born and raised in Tehran, Kasra V started djing in London clubs before he was old enough for a provisional driving licence. Still in his early 20s, he's part of the Love Fever crew and presents 'The Paradise Show' on NTS Radio as well as being the Balearic curator of London for 22 Tracks. He recently released his brilliant debut record 'The Persian Prince' EP on Make Love In Public Spaces.
FYI Chris, consisting of two Chris’s – Chris Watson and Chris Coupe – are a couple of similarly named music producers from South London who are kicking up a fuss in music spinning circles. Their debut record, 'No Hurry / Juliette' on Church, and their next 'Back in the Millennium' EP on Rhythm Section have both been repressed and turned the heads of heavyweights Ryan Elliott, Mr G. and Alexander Nut. When they’re not working on new material, you’ll find them behind the counter at Rye Wax, selling copious amounts of vinyl, and spending their pay check on keeping their bags brimming with the good stuff.
