One of the most established names in the house music circuit, Nick Curly’s signature style of production and DJ sets comes to Tribal Sessions London. Multiple cuts of groovy dance floor based tech-house – most of his tracks are self-released however, this does not stop him from venturing out onto brands such as Defected, Cocoon and VIVa.
Having first built and grown Cècille Records as one of the most prominent labels in the scene he then followed this with the extremely successful 8bit imprint that reaches it’s tenth anniversary this year and has been followed with a summer long tour of showcases around Europe.
Burnski is a Geordie who is able to create timeless house music that makes hips shake. Influenced by Detroit and Chicago sounds, yet able to develop this into his own catalogue of great music. He is very specific with the record labels that he chooses to release on, they must follow the same ethos of what he is after exploring.
Regular gigs at some of the best clubs around Europe including DC10 in Ibiza, Rex Club in Paris and Watergate in Berlin show Burnski’s ability as a disc jockey. Vinyl is still a key part of his life whether that means digging for old forgotten gems or trawling through fantastic brand new & rare music.
Berlin born Philip Bader was given his first gig in the ever-popular Tresor Club back in 1999. As a result of this he would go onto run his own parties in the German capital, this would then start to shape the legendary ‘Sunday after’ parties in Berlin.
Bader’s production work was next on the agenda, a debut on Monika Kruse’s Electric Avenue label was then followed by imprints such as Saved, Moon Harbour and Get Physical. Both his track creation output and DJ sets follow a distinctly similar path of deep minimalistic techno with a touch of playfulness.
Tribal Sessions Manchester, Ibiza and London resident Jozef K completes the line up.
