Soichi Terada has long been a bastion of charming house music in Japan. Over the course of a long career that dates back to the '80s, Terada has been responsible for the soundtracks of video games like Ape Escape, as well as for countless great releases on his Far East Recordings label alongside good friend Shinichiro Yokota. A recent showcase of his work by Hunee, "Sounds From The Far East," has shined a new light on the infuence and depth of his unmistakable sound, and we're excited to host a live set from Mr. Terada for his very first visit to San Francisco.
Few DJs can represent the last three decades of New York dance music history as much as Justin Strauss. Since he was 17, when his first band was signed to Island Records, Justin has had a career that reads like a Who’s-Who of the music scene, spinning at every major NY club and becoming one of the most sought-after remixers in the world. As half of the production duos Whatever/Whatever, and a/jus/ted, he continues to produce and remix with the likes of Hot Chip, Blood Orange, Holy Ghost!, LCD Soundsystem, Beyonce, La Roux and more. There's no doubt Justin will be soundtracking one of our most fun dancefloors yet, so find yourself a spot under the disco ball and hang on.
