With a heavy heart, we announce what is to be our last party at Dance Tunnel. After so many memorable nights, it’s sad for us to witness the club’s closure and the lack of understanding shown by the authorities regarding the broader night time economy in London. As a testament to the club and to all the fine people who are associated with it, we felt that our last party at DT should be an extra special one. With that in mind, Huerco S is someone who has been on our wish list for the longest time and we’re delighted to see things out with such a great talent.
With a quick scan over Huerco’s discography, it’s obvious to see the high regard in which his abilities are held. Reaching his audience via Future Times, Opal Tapes, Wicked Bass and Proibito not to mention his ‘Colonial Patterns’ album, released by Daniel Lopatin’s (Oneohtrix Point Never) Software imprint, Huerco’s quality is abundantly evident to his peers and his impassioned followers. A diverse and wide-ranging sonic palette, Huerco spans the fullest of electronic music spectrums. His upcoming release will arrive this summer as an ambient album which displays his versatility and musical tastes that extend far beyond the club floor. Not to be dismissive, Huerco is also an extra special DJ whose shows and recorded mixes are heralded for their intricacy and profound sonic density. His abilities in the booth are boundless, captivating his audiences in a way that extols the music he selects, creating a journey for the listener to share with him.
In keeping things consistent, Huerco will be supported by the talents of DJ-Set. This Wifey resident is near somewhat of a hidden gem. Seamlessly creating sets that breathe new angles of enjoyment into the tracks he has selected.
WBH residents will get us under starter’s orders. A fitting bill for the final Way Back Here tunnel dance.
