HDD x Swing Ting present WORLD CARNIVAL
JUST ANNOUNCED: Murlo
SPECIAL GUEST DJ:
Hipsters Don’t Dance and Swing Ting combine once again for a World Carnival party to remember, joined by the big bad DJ Brackles. Whistles, horns and appropriate dancing footwear advised...
Murlo, Loughborough's finest export joins us after a whirlwind year of touring the world, making the best remix of Rihanna's work (now with over a million plays) and generally being fantastic. As a resident of both HDD and Swing Ting parties we are looking forward to Murlo bringing his signature style to this bacchanal affair. Those who caught him at the first World Carnival rave know what will happen, if you missed out you better get involved.
Kazabon & Hootie Who, hot from providing a sublime guest mix for Jamz Supernova’s Radio 1 show, tearing down Wireless festival (and djing for the Chuckles Brothers) will carry the HDD banner.
Joey B aka Joey Bashment fresh from providing the latest Straight Swangin’ installment via Dummy mag’s mix series will don a crisp white tee to rep the Swing Ting club and label. Legendary UKG vocalist and Madd Again! member, Specialist Moss will hold mic on the night with experienced singjay and Switch-collaborator, Trigganom alongside production and DJ-duo Platt & Samrai who’ve remixed Gappy Ranks, voiced Kemikal of Equiknoxx crew & provided guest mixes for Toddla T & RBMA in the last 12 months.
Extended family member Brackles features as a special guest, showcasing his DJ-ing virtuosity and sublime selecting abilities at a World Carnival party for the first time.
Brackles held down a longstanding Rinse FM residency before moving to his current monthly home at Radar Radio where he seamlessly weaves through diverse club music with ease, whether it’s Afropop, Rap, Garage, Rnb, Funky or his own colourful productions, his selection unites hardcore ravers and music lovers alike. Expect to Skank out when Brax selects!
All keen, lean, dancehall kings and queens, witness the combination of these two teams..
