From its humble origins in a Los Angeles theater to its current reign as the world's largest electronic music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival has been virtually synonymous with the rise of dance music culture. Now producing multi-day festivals around the world, EDC's ever-growing popularity charges ahead unabated, with recent additions in Las Vegas, the UK, Brazil and Mexico. Featuring pristine festival grounds, state-of-the-art audiovisuals, and the biggest names in electronic dance music, EDC never fails to leave its all-night revelers in euphoric bliss.
Electric Daisy Carnival had its inaugural festival at LA's Shrine Expo Hall in 1997. Its popularity grew throughout the '00s as it expanded to additional cities, quickly becoming the biggest electronic music festival in the country. Over the years, EDC has hosted a veritable who's who of internationally renowned DJs, including Paul van Dyk, Armand Van Helden, and Paul Oakenfold, and it continues to draw top talent as it has expanded into Europe, Latin America and Asia. In 2016, EDC Las Vegas drew more than 400,000 people.
