Part one of I Love Acid's tenth anniversary parties
Official pre-party at Eastern Bloc Records from 5pm, with Posthuman, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, and Jon Dasilva.
I Love Acid has been running as a party and a record label for ten years!
Named after the Luke Vibert track of the same name, there have been over 100 events since 2007 - with our home in London plus one-offs in Edinburgh, Belfast, Barcelona, Antwerp, Berlin, Malta, Dublin and more...plus stages at festivals like Bangface and Bloc Weekend.
Finally, for the first part of the tenth birthday party, we come to one of the true homes of acid house in the UK (and the world) - Manchester.
With Rephlex legends Luke Vibert and Ceephax Acid Crew heading up the lineup, plus Glasgow's Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, Super Rhythm Trax main man Jerome Hill, Days of Being Wild slo-mo acid chug expert Heretic, Manchester's own Hacienda resident Jon Dasilva, and ourselves - I Love Acid's hosts & residents Posthuman (returning to our home - we began life as a Manchester electronica act on Skam Records back in the late 90's)
Taking both rooms at Hidden, this is a massive lineup which we're probably going to lose a crapload of money putting on but who f'kin cares. It's a birthday party!
See you there!
