Claude Young is a name deeply respected and revered in the world of dance music, and has been for over two decades. With a list of accomplishments almost too numerous to mention, Claude Young has earned his legendary status. As an innovative producer, he's worked under many aliases and in a myriad of eclectic musical projects, he ran the acclaimed techno label, Elypsia, he's universally regarded as one of the most masterful techno DJs ever, and Claude Young is simply a humble, beloved figure in the techno scene. Although synonymous with Detroit techno, Claude is known to effortlessly mix up styles in his DJ sets, working the dancefloor to maximum effect. His mixing style is aggressive, precise, and abundant in flair, energy, and tricknology. You may have witnessed Young's previous, blazing 6-hour set for Signal>Noise's 1-year anniversary back in 2015--it was one of the brightest moments for the crew, and a favorite for many party-goers in attendance. This time, Claude Young knows how we do it here in Rochester, and will no doubt bring the heat once again.
