  • France has some new hardware to call its own: Daft Punk and Justice swept up the dance music categories at this year's Grammy Awards. The two French groups were honored with statues at the pre-ceremony where the vast majority of the awards were handed out. Daft Punk came away with two: Best Electronic/Dance Album for Alive 2007 and Best Dance Recording for "Harder Better Faster Stronger," while their younger countrymen were honored in the remix category for their take on MGMT's "Electric Feel" beating out work by Deadmau5 (pictured), Stonebridge, Junkie XL and Moto Blanco.
