  • Appleblim is set to bring his Apple Pips label to The Arches this Friday for the latest We Fear Silence event. The ex-Skull Disco man will be given a full two hours to showcase his DJing style, which currently takes in UK funky and techno as well as the dubstep that you'd expect from one of his sets. He'll be joined in the second room by his two sometime co-producers Peverelist and Geiom (who also run the Punch Drunk and Berkane Sol labels respectively), as well as relative newcomers Brackles and Greena, who will both see their debut singles for Apple Pips drop later in the year. The main room will be looked after by drum'n'bass download store A Bunch Of Cuts, and features a weighty line-up of some of the best producers in the scene. Marcus Intalex and his Soul:r compadre Calibre will be showing the crowd that it isn't just all about jump-up these days during their headlining slots, while the rest of the bill is taken up by D-Bridge, Doc Scott and Klute.
