Canyons signs to Modular

The production duo will release a full-length on the label next year.
Sydney duo Canyons have inked a deal with Modular, with a single hopefully hitting shelves later this year, and their debut album pencilled in for a 2010 release. The pair have been crashing Sydney dance floors with their signature blend of acid house and disco for the past 12 months, rapidly becoming one of the city’s most revered young acts. In addition to their forthcoming Modular debut, Canyons will be releasing their Fire Eyes 12-inch through DFA on 21 July. In the meantime, you can catch Canyons in Sydney with Jacques Renault at Discoasis on 16 May, or at We Love Sounds on 6 June.
