M_nus announce off-Sonar beach party

- Magda, Troy Pierce and Heartthrob will all appear at the label's free beach party on the Sunday.
- Richie Hawtin's M_nus label have today revealed details of their plans for 2009's Sonar festival. Not only will they be hosting a ten hour beach party extravaganza on the Sunday evening, it will be absolutely free of charge to attend. For the bash, Hawtin's crew have plumped for the beach hut stylings of Chiringuito Calamar at Platja del Prat, with a shuttle bus service scheduled to run from Plaza Catalunya every 20 minutes. At the moment, the only confirmed guests are Troy Pierce, Heartthrob, Barem, and everyone's favourite minimal tea lady Magda, but we're told to expect a few special suprise guests to pass through with their laptops in tow. Hawtin himself will of course be playing at the festival proper, so there's every chance that attendees will get to see the M_nus main man at the controls, although the only way to find out will be to get down to the party yourself.
