  • Modular Recordings have signed Manchester three-piece Delphic, and are set to release the trio's debut EP next month, and debut full-length in early 2010. Produced by Ewan Pearson, Delphic's debut is said to primarily hang about in the indie rock spectrum, with an added '80s-esque synth and percussion touch. Pearson, who is well known for his studio work with dance-orientated indie bands, has previously lent his hands to the likes of The Rapture, M83, and, more recently, Australia's Lost Valentinos. Coming together as a band one year ago, Delphic signed to Belgian label R&S, who went on to release their Counterpoint 12-inch in April. The band also recently featured on Kitsune Maison 7.
