  • Bugged Out! will bring their own special brand of raving goodness to Bristol this Friday, with a headlining performance from Carl Craig. The legendary Detroit DJ/producer has played twice before in Bristol, both times in relatively small venues, but don't go thinking that this weekend's performance will be a big room affair. Motion is one of the biggest venues in the city, and normally the main headliner would be placed in the cavernous half-pipe room, but Bugged Out! co-conspirators Just Jack have decided against this for Craig. Just Jack resident Tom Rio tells us that, "due to the nature of the half-pipes acoustics, music with big basslines and hard-hitting beats work better than some of the more subtle forms of electronic music, including techno. Although this isn't always true we do feel that the tunnel will work better for Carl's style." This means that Craig will yet again play a more intimate set than usual for Bristol's clubbing community. The main half-pipe room will see more ravey antics from Ed Banger boss Busy P and Altern-8 (who will of course be appearing complete with their trademark boiler suits), while the outdoor terrace will see disco, Italo and house obscurities and classics being outed by previous RA podcasters Disco Bloodbath.
