  • Poker Flat Recordings will live up to its name in August when it hosts a poker tournament at Spielbank Berlin. The label is currently celebrating its tenth year of operation, and label boss Steve Bug has pulled out all the stops: After releasing his latest full-length record, and an extensive box set celebrating the imprint's decade-long run, he's now set up a No Limit Hold 'Em event at one of the biggest casinos in Germany's capital. Appearing on the night will be PF regulars Phonique, Vincenzo, Mike Vamp and Clé, along with the possibility of some surprise guests along the way. (If you get our drift...) The buy-in for the night will be 50 Euro, and you can enter into the proceedings at the Spielbank website. Or, if you're feeling lucky—and what gambler doesn't at some point?—you can enter in RA's competition. We're giving away the chance to one lucky reader to beat the Poker Flat players at their own game. Either way, the good folks over at the label will be giving away prizes to anybody who enters: Free admission to the afterparty at Weekend where all four DJs will play, a deck of Poker Flat playing cards and ten free downloads as well. What's more, if you're lucky enough to knock out Phonique, Vincenzo, Mike Vamp or Clé out of the competition, you'll win every single release that the artist has ever put on the Poker Flat family of labels—12-inches and CDs. The further you go, the better the prize, but the money will only be split among the top 10 finishers, ensuring the best get a nice bit of cash to go home with—or spend at Weekend afterward.
