Avaland turns five with Steve Bug

- The Poker Flat boss will be in Los Angeles to celebrate the club night's anniversary next weekend.
- Steve Bug will travel to Los Angeles next week to celebrate Avaland's fifth anniversary. The long-running club night has been housed in LA mega-club Avalon, and has brought a variety of acts to downtown Hollywood in its history including Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y., Trentemøller and Matthew Dear. In a city that seems to celebrate trance and blog rock above all else, it has often been able to put underground acts in a decidedly overground venue. Next weekend that trend will continue with Bug, who will be celebrating a birthday himself—the tenth anniversary of his celebrated Poker Flat imprint. Label residents Adultnapper, Dan Berkson and James What (Live) will join Bug for the festivities, as well as Lele Sacchi, Lee Foss and Droog.
