- The dubstep producer will be playing several shows, getting underway this weekend.
2562, one of the leading non-UK dubstep producers, is set to arrive in Australia shortly, where he'll be playing a string of dates nationwide. Kicking off his maiden Australian tour tonight in Sydney, the Dutchman will move on to play dates in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
It was announced a few months ago that 2562 would be releasing his sophomore LP, Unbalanced via Tectonic in November, so chances are Australian punters will have a few of the album's tracks thrown their way throughout the tour.
The Melbourne leg of 2562's jaunt will serve as local institution Heavy Innit's last party of the year. To finish 2009 with a bang, they've enlisted the services of additional internationals Nero, Excision and Antiserum, for a finale that looks like to be one of Melbourne's largest dubstep excursions to date.
