- The Scottish producer will release his third full-length in February of next year.
Alex Smoke will return with his third full-length early next year.
After a relatively quiet year for the prolific young producer, 2010 looks to be another busy one, what with March bringing the release of Lux. It's a 14-track album that sees him once again traversing the edges of techno. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Smoke seems to thrive in the LP format, a fact that's evidenced by the varied track times found on Lux. This is an album that is firmly aimed for home listeners, with plenty of genres covered over the course of its 66-minute length.
Hum+Haw, Smoke and Jim Hutchison's label will be the home for Lux, marking the imprint's first foray into album territory.
