Santos Party House Pays Tribute to Arthur Russell

- Original Loose Joints and Dinosaur L artists alongside Danny Krivit and more will descend up on the venue in March.
- On March 4th, Electric Minds will host a launch party for Go Bang! A Tribute to Arthur Russell at Santos Party House in Manhattan. The event will feature performances by artists who performed and recorded with Russell in the '80s, including original Loose Joints and Dinosaur L artists like Peter Gordon, Ernie Brooks, Steven Hall and Joyce Bowden. On the DJ front, the party is set to feature house and disco sets by New York veteran Danny Krivit, Chinatown Records boss Brennan Green, Dolan Bergin of Electric Minds and Pocketknife. Go Bang! was released in November of 2009 on Electric Minds, the label and promoter who are hosting the event in New York. Bergin enlisted house and nu-disco producers like Yam Who?, Max Essa and Faze Action, Go Bang! to craft covers of Russell's classic cuts. Considering the line-up, you can likely expect plenty of the same reverence in March.
