- The trio will release their next album on BPitch Control.
Jahcoozi will release their next album, Barefoot Wanderer, this April on BPitch Control.
The Berlin-based trio are known for their unlikely blends of musical genres, and Barefoot Wanderer promises to be one of their most diverse records yet, with hints of dancehall, dubstep, disco and breakbeat all thrown into the mix. The album features a wide variety of guest appearances, including M. Sayyid of Anti Pop Consortium, Belgian vocalist Barbara Panther, and clay pot percussionist Oori Shalev. For one track, "Msoto Millions," Jahcoozi traveled to Kenya to enlist the talents of Uko Flani, a reggae crew from Nairobi.
The album will be Jahcoozi's third full-length release to date, and their first on BPitch Control.
