- The Hotflush boss will kick off a new quarterly residency at the Kreuzberg club next weekend, which marks his first appearance as SCB.
Scuba will play his first club set under his techno-oriented SCB moniker in Berlin next Friday.
The Hotflush Recordings head honcho will take to the decks for the first event in his ongoing residency at Kreuzberg's Horst club, which will go under the amalgamated title of Horst Flush. His guests will also represent the more techno-friendly side of the dubstep sound, with Hotflush regular and Medium resident Sigha showcasing his streamlined dubwise style. The headliner for the evening will be Bristol's Headhunter, who has recently taken an interest in the new school of ghetto house that has been making a resurgence in European clubs. His eagerly anticipated juke track, "Footcrab," (which has already been seeing regular play from genre-blending DJs such as Ben UFO) will see a release on Loefah's Swamp81 imprint in the coming months under his new Addison Groove moniker, and you can expect him to mix up some of these selections with the dubstep style that you'd more commonly associate with the man. Scuba is planning to host one Horst Flush party every three months, so travelling Hotflush fans should keep an eye on Horst's listings for an advance heads up on the next event.
