  • English dubstep experimentalist Shackleton is set to make his Australian debut, playing two dates in March. As a co-founder—alongside Appleblim—of one of dubstep's most recognised experimental imprints, Skull Disco, Shackleton has become a name synonymous with leftfield dance productions. His records have found their way into the record bags of dubstep and techno luminaries alike, with high rotation on the turntables of Kode9, but just as likely as a slot in a Ricardo Villalobos or Radio Slave set. A regular European visitor, Shackleton's DJ sets are known to encompass both experimental and accessible forms of dubstep. February and March will see Shackleton take on his most extensive international touring to date, where he'll be playing several North American dates prior to his Australian shows, including a headline slot at New York City's February edition of Dub War. Tickets to Shackleton's Sydney appearance at Index are available now from RA Tickets.
