  • Hernan Cattaneo is set to return to Australia this April, headlining the emerging events brand música's first 2010 party. Set to take place at The Forum, música will also host internationals Apparat and Marc Merzenit alongside the Argentinean progressive stalwart. Apparat, real name Sascha Ring, grabbed attention last year with the return of his high-profile collaboration with Modeselektor, fittingly titled Moderat. While Cattaneo and Ring head to Australia as the veterans, Marco Marzenit goes as a relatively new jock. Though he's been an active producer since 2006, the Spaniard's output only really matured last year, with a 12-inch on Bedrock Records and a string of releases on his own Paradigma Musik, both of which received praise from techno and progressive selectors alike. The night will also feature local talents such as Alex Taylor and previous RA podcaster Simon Caldwell. Additional Australian dates for Cattaneo, Ring and Marzenit are to be confirmed.
