DJ Pete & Sleeparchive play Meakusma

- The Berlin-based pair will head to Brussels for only their third outing as a live duo later this month.
- Meakusma will return to Brussels venue Recyclart on Friday April 23rd. DJ Pete and Stephan Metzger, AKA Sleeparchive, will reprise their "semi-improvised live session" set-up later this month, with a performance for long-standing Belgian promoters Meakusma. From what we can gather, the show is comprised of Pete tapping rhythms on an 808, while Metzger focus his attention upon matters of synthesis--a languid laptop outing this ain't. Also setting up in a live capacity will be fellow German producer Kassem Mosse, who, despite only releasing a handful of recordings for the likes of Mikrodisko and Workshop, has garnered himself a significant following on deeper house floors these past couple of years. The Lebanon-born, Italy-based boss of Morphine Records, Ra.H, will add further fuel to the live electronic music fire on the night, while Immer.Chic provides the warm-up by coming at things from a DJ's perspective.
