The promoters are hosting Lee Burridge for an epic two-day party before one of the founders leaves to start Esthetik.
Known for throwing some of the wildest parties in secret warehouse locations around New York, Resolute couldn't have put it better this time when they said, "finally we've caught up with a perfect artist." Their latest offering kicks off on Saturday night in downtown club Love and will then go on through to an undisclosed rooftop location for Sunday which will provide a perfect vantage point for the firework display.
Burridge, who is perhaps best known as one-half of Tyrant with Craig Richards, has proven his party staying power with his 365 project which saw him set up shop for a two month residency in seven different cities around the world over the course of a year. He's promised a couple of extra long sets which should see him digging extra deep into his record bag. On hand to give him something of a breather will be Alphahouse boss Butane, Cocoon upcomers Kabuto & Koji and Basic NYC promoters Sleepy & Boo.
In related Resolute news, one of the two founders, Nikola Nedeljkovic has left to start his own promotional group, Esthetik. Those hoping for drama will be left dissatisfied: "Everything is kosher between me and now my ex-partner, I just needed to start something fresh and my own." To kick things off over the summer, Esthetik will be holding a regular Thursday night session at the Delancey which boasts a soundproofed basement dance floor, as well as intermittent day events on the weekends. The opening party will be on July 8th, with minimalism from the multitalented [a]pendics.shuffle, Tuning Spork founder Someone Else and support from resident Jeffrey Scott.
Tickets for the Resolute party are valid for both days and are available here on RA.
