  • Kenneth James Gibson will release his next album, Delusional Tales and Non-Silence, next month on the LA-based label Culprit. Gibson has worked under a number of odd monikers over the years, including Premature Wig, Electronic Music Composer and his best known guise [a]pendics.shuffle. Since he began producing around the turn of the millennium, he's released dozens of 12-inches under his various aliases while also running the label Adjunct, which has put out records by artists like Franco Cinelli and fellow LA resident Mikael Stavostrand. Delusional Tales and Non-Silence will be Gibson's first full-length since Crumbling and Responding, released in 2005 under the name Eight Frozen Modules. The album focuses on the eerie deep house side of his palette, and features mostly unreleased material, plus a dub version of "Animals Tonight," his single from last year on Culprit. Vocal appearances come courtesy of Don Fuego and Kelly Johnston, both of whom have appeared on Gibson's records in the past. Tracklist 01. You Remind Me 02. We Can Do That feat. Don Fuego 03. Brisk Defiance 04. Give it Up, Let It Go feat. Kelly Johnston 05. Another Number 06. Animals Tonight (KJG Dub Version) 07. Relying Heavily On 08. Painted Eyes 09. Something in the Way feat. Kelly Johnston (Extended Mix in 3 Passages) 10. On This Whole Time feat. Don Fuego Culprit will release Delusional Tales and Non-Silence on August 11th, 2010.
