- The Pacha NYC resident is set to release a new mix CD.
Russian house titan DJ Boris has released the fourth mix CD in his Believe series.
The St. Petersburg born jock rose rapidly through the ranks of the New York house scene, honing his talents at clubs like Limelight, Exit and The Roxy. As a graduate of the Institute of Audio Research, he brought his studio trickery to the DJ booth with a frenetic house sound, eventually gaining him a residency at the superclub Crobar, from where he built his loyal following. Following the closure of that club, the Boris brigade set up shop in Pacha, where he's continued his residency ever since. The latest in the Believe series is yet another snapshot of his wild club sets, with tracks old and new thrown in amongst his own productions, all mixed in his signature hard looping style.
