- Ricardo Villalobos will headline the next edition of Fabric's monthly all-night party series 'On,' is set to take place on August 21. A month after debuting a 30-hour party of nonstop music entitled 'On & On...& On' back in May, the popular London club hit a well-documented period of uncertainty stemming from the closing of its sister club Matter. Shorter both in name and duration, 'On' returned to the monthly fabric lineup in July with a 15-hour program that featured a cross section of musical talent such as Tiefschwarz, The Revenge, Holy Ghost!, Tama Sumo and Paco Osuna. This month's session will be evenly split between between influential UK DJs and some of fabric's Berlin-based regulars. Villalobos graced all three rooms of the club during it's mammoth tenth birthday celebration last year, but this time he'll be happily ensconced in his favoured spot in the Room One booth. Joining him will be fellow Chilean artist Dinky and The Modern Deep Left Quartet, a Canadian contingency made up of Cobblestone Jazz members Mathew Jonson, Danuel Tate and Tyger Dhula, and Colin 'The Mole' De La Plante. Soma Records founders Slam will up the ante in fabric's cavernous second room, backed up by longtime resident and tech-house stalwart Terry Francis, while up in Room Three London UK duo Swayzak will team up with acid house originator Baby Ford.
