  • One year on from their outdoor concert at Berlin's Tape Club, Norweigan/German four-piece The Whitest Boy Alive will return for another mid-afternoon show in the venue's garden. Last year's popular event debuted Tape's "garden," an open concrete space at the rear of the club where 5000 revelers watched the band deliver their signature indie-disco. The interim has been a quiet period for The Whitest Boy Alive while frontman Erlend Oye released and toured for Declaration of Dependence, the latest album album by his folksy duo Kings of Convenience. Support at the event will come from Kakkmaddafakka, the newest signing to Oye's Bubbles imprint. Fresh from the Scandanavian summer festival circuit, the Bergen-based collective have built a strong following thanks to their energetic performances and quirky pop. Pre-sale tickets for The Whitest Boy Alive & Kakkmaddafakka Open Air Konzert are available right here on RA.
