Modeselektion launches at Rex

- Modeselektor will be joined by SBTRKT, Siriusmo and Bok Bok next week to celebrate the release of their new compilation.
- Modeselektor will launch their new Modeselektion compilation at Rex on Wednesday, November 17th. "The main concern in all of this was the idea of defying genres and the usual beef between different camps, i.e. to create without borders and be completely freestyle," said Modeselektor on their new Modeselektion double-disc collection. The results of this ideological approach were released on November 5th and brought together genre-bending cuts from the likes of 2562, Marcel Dettmann, Ramadanman and Digital Mystikz. The party at Rex this coming Wednesday will naturally feature a selection of contributing artists in addition to a live set from Modeselektor. Siriusmo and SBTRKT—who opened up CD1 with "Das Geheimnis" and "The Unspoken" respectively both play, as does Night Slugs man Bok Bok, who pitched in with the insouciant "Say Stupid Things."
