Alex Smoke plays Canberra and Sydney

- The Scottish techno producer will play club dates for later this month.
- Alex Menzies, better known as Alex Smoke, has added two dates to his upcoming Australian visit, stopping in for club sets in Sydney and Melbourne. It's been just over ten months since Menzies last touched down in Australia. In the meantime, the Scottish producer dropped his third full-length, Lux, kept up a solid European club presence and played several dates across North America. DJ-wise, Menzies has a special knack for deep and dark techno, but can dabble in more upbeat house if the situation calls for it. The young producer will be in Australia for almost two weeks. Canberra will be his first stop, where he'll be co-headlining a party at Trinity on November 20th. From there, he'll head into the Victorian bush for a slot at Strawberry Fields the following weekend, then fly north for HAHA Industries' triple-header at Sydney's Marrickville Recreation Centre, where Juan Atkins and Vince Watson will also be spinning.
