Resident Advisor has launched a mobile site for event listings, letting you see what's going on and where straight from your smartphone.
We've all been there. You hop in a cab, say the name of a club, and by the time you're en route the driver mentions they have no idea how to get there. You try to contact your friends but to no avail, and soon you find yourself shivering in some sinister industrial park on the outskirts of town, desperately hoping to catch site of a queue.
RA Mobile aims to help you out in situations like these. This beta version of our mobile site lets you see all the relevant info on nearby parties right on your iPhone, Blackberry or web-enabled device, including lineups, venues and addresses with a direct link to Google Maps. You can also manage your diary and favourite clubs to customize your homepage. Just head to m.residentadvisor.net, enter your login info and you're sorted.
