- Isolee, Ikonika, Frivolous and others will play the Spanish arm of the Quebecois audio-visual festival.
- Mutek have announced details for the second edition of MUTEK.ES, set to take place over three days next February in Barcelona. Much like its parent festival in Montreal, micro Mutek presents a series of visually-enhanced electronic performances at a handful of venues around the city. This year will have an added portion for industry professionals, with three days of free panels and interviews, on topics ranging from "economic and creative dimensions of festivals" to "international diffusion." Musically, the event will echo this past summer's event in Montreal, with headlining slots from Actress and dubstep artist Ikonika, plus one of RA's top 10 DJs of the year, Dixon. Isolee and Frivolous will both play live, having by then just released their new albums (A Well Spent Youth and Meteorology, respectively) Most of the performances will happen at the intimate Moog club, with the finale taking place in the more spacey confines of Nitsa. An art gallery called Miscelanea will host the A/V events, and the panels will take place at Disco Paradiso, a local vinyl boutique.
