- The Detroit DJ will perform an extended set at I Am this weekend.
Detroit DJ and producer Stacey Pullen will be playing the whole night at Liverpool club Silo on November 10 for I Am.
The Detroit native is known for bringing subtlety and warmth to the techno and house he mixes up, typically staying below the 130-BPM mark that many of his Michigan peers like to exceed. On his most recent mix CD for 20:20 Vision, he blended smooth house with more hard-hitting techno. The party tomorrow night will be Pullen’s final UK date this year, after spending the summer and autumn playing dozens of parties around the world, from Indonesia to Italy. A lover of performance, he is renowned for long, adventurous and soulful journeys through his own record crate (and more recently, hard drive). Thus the six-hour set at Silo seems a perfect fit for the veteran DJ.
The night will mark the fourth edition of I Am, a party that kicked off in Liverpool this past spring. Previous events have featured all-night sets from Kerri Chandler, Doc Martin and Dixon.
