- Luke Vibert's most prolific alter-ego returns this March with a new album on Ninja Tune.
Manic UK beatsmith Luke Vibert has revived his Wagon Christ moniker for a new LP due out this March, entitled Toomorrow.
With a half dozen pseudonyms, more than twice as many albums and a history that stretches back to the late '90s, Vibert has always been in a league of his own. His sound is as strange as it is individual: borrowing elements of breaks, acid, hip-hop and more recently dubstep, it's always been a perfect fit for labels like Warp, Rephlex and Ninja Tune, the latter of whom will be release his latest LP. Toomorrow will be Vibert's first album in seven years as Wagon Christ, the moniker he's used most aside from his real name.
