  • Dave Huismans, better known as 2562, has set up a new label called When In Doubt, with the first release due next month. Huismans has kept up a busy release schedule since his debut five years ago, weaving between dubstep and techno by way of two aliases: 2562 (Tectonic, 3024) and A Made Up Sound (Delsin, Clone). Over the past year or so he's focused more on the 4/4 end of the spectrum, putting out just one 12-inch as 2562 and six as A Made Up Sound. Considering five of these records were self-released, starting a label seems like a natural move for the Dutch producer. When In Doubt's inaugural release, a two-track 10-inch, will be Huisman's first appearance as 2562 in almost a year. It will be pressed on blue vinyl, packaged in hand-printed sleeves and limited to 300 copies, with no future repress likely. You can hear samples of both tracks on the new record here. The new imprint will also put out 2562's upcoming album, Fever, slated for release at the beginning of April. Tracklist A1 Aquatic Family Affair B1 This Is Hardcore When In Doubt will release Aquatic Family Affair / This Is Hardcore on February 7th, 2011.
