  • Editions Mego will release a collection of Mark McGuire's previously released material. In both his role as guitarist for Cleveland band Emeralds, and as a solo artist, McGuire has been nothing short of prolific over the past four years. Alone, he's released an astonishing 13 albums in that time, exploring the regions of drone, ambient and experimental. None of the material presented on A Young Person's Guide will be new—rather, the two-disc album will draw on McGuire's vast back-catalogue of limited-edition releases. "Explosion Alarm," for instance, is taken from 2009 CDR Losing Sleep, of which there are only 60 copies in existence. Tracklist CD 1 01. Dream Team 02. The Marfa Lights 03. Clague Woods 04.
